buckinghamshireBuckinghamshire is named after the university town Buckingham; today however today it is the county town of Aylesbury cunty, thus it is the administrative seat of the region. Buckinghamshire is partitioned into the four districts Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe; a further administrative unit, whose  unitary authority Milton Keynes, is attached only for certain functions of the county.
