Cornwall
Cornwall is most the south-westerly county of England. It is well known for its Mediterranean climate and historic sites such as Tintagel Castle, which for many years was the former castle of King Arthur of Camelot. Other towns worth a visit are the towns St Ives, Newquay is a seaside resort on the northwest coast and the center of British competitive surfing and also near the town of Falmouth where the Trelissik Gardens and Castles Pendennis Castle and St Mawes.
To the east of Cornwall between Bodmin and Launceston is the Bodmin Moor, a former bog, now largely cultivated. At several points, however, still bear witness to stone circles and other monuments of the historical past of Bodmin Moor.
